Applied and got called in less than a week in Deer Park NY. Went in and waited only 5 min for the in person one on one interview in a old dirty office. Place was not up to date or even maintained, almost runned down. But the interview was straight forward about what they do and how explain my experience from my resume. Manager mentioned they market and give free phones to those on government supplementary income and market phones for sprint and verizon. He mentioned the position would be to manage those 6-10 employees who do the marketing and hopefully become a manager with a 6 month training experience. The interviewer said I need to come back for a 2nd group interview the next day in the morning to discuss more about compensation and the position. However it is too far for me in Deer Park Long Island and did not continue to the 2nd interview but the interview was only about 7-9minutes.

This is a management position that requires you to manage a set of 6-8 employees. How does your experience relate to this and why do you want to be part of the company.

I first arrived into the office to a waiting room of other candidates. The receptionist is there calling other people to come in for an interview in front of you which was a bit awkward. The manager then called me in. She was very nice and asked basic questions and was called in for a 2nd round interview. As soon as I arrived I was told to follow this lady in her car to an "event." I asked where we were going and she refused to tell me or even give me an address. I felt like getting in my car and driving away as this was very suspicious however I followed her about 20 minutes away to the "event" anyway. The event was at..... A GAS STATION!!! XD
The lady then interviewed me outside of the gas station when it was 90 degrees out in my business professional interview suit. I was so caught off guard by the fact I was being interviewed outside of a gas station that I could barely think. Basically the company paints this picture of hosting events for NASCAR, Sprint, and the Breast Cancer Foundation but really what you are doing is selling car wax at gas stations. Event=Gas Station...
After this "event" I was told to go back to the office for a 3rd round interview. First I was given a review on the interview and a pop quiz on what I learned. They then explained the program and its pay structure. Basically you sell wax at a gas station for the first 2-4 weeks and make about $200-$400 a week then you become a trainer and make $600-800 a week. After 6 months you become an assistant manager and make around $1000 a week and if you are lucky you become manager and make around $80,000 a year.
At 4PM that day I got a phone call from them saying I got the job however as much as I wanted to grow. Selling wax at gas stations is not the way to go. Also ignore the employment reviews! The most recent/positive ones were written from current employees who were instructed to say how awesome it was in order to attract people into applying!
