The interview was extremely in depth and an interesting experience that really made you think about what you wanted in a job.
It took a very long time to get to the end of the process after almost five rounds of interviews. I got an offer, but a week before I was to begin (and after I'd already had my last day at the job I left in order to work there), they rescinded my offer with no explanation and left me very close to losing everything and endangering the well being of my family. After pushing for a reason, I was told the offer was rescinded due to lay offs, but then my position was posted again the very next week, so I now believe that to be a falsehood.
I was very excited to begin here and was very shocked that they would treat someone in this way after spending all that time getting to know me and even offering me a job. I'm still not sure of the true reason, but everything happens for a reason and I'm blessed to have found an amazing job with great pay and a wonderful culture before we were evicted since I was out of work for about a month after they did this!
This experience was... something. No ill feelings towards anyone there despite what happened because I ended up at a company perfect for me, but I thought I'd leave my thoughts and let the company know to perhaps have a little more empathy next time they make a decision like this. People's livelihoods matter.

Initial phone interview> homework assignment> in depth phone interview> "Coffee" interview (virtual for me)> then in person interview. I did not make it past the "coffee" interview, which was somewhat awkward and not as informal as I was led to believe. I was repeatedly asked about a time I was a supervisor which didn't seem relevant since the position I was applying for was not a supervisory position. I was also interviewed in the "coffee" interview by one of the people who had done my in depth phone interview, but there was also a new person, so a lot of the questions were repeated.
They are very careful about protecting their culture, which is great... as long as they don't miss out on some awesome talent along the way. I would be wary of trying to make yourself sound good in the interview, as the CEO is very big on people being humble. This is difficult to achieve when in an interview you are "selling" yourself to the company and need to make yourself sound good (even if you are being completely honest about your talents). This is a very time consuming process to go through and then be rejected (which it seems there is a good chance of), so make sure that the opportunity is worth it to you.
It's difficult to be rejected from a dream job. I would have loved to work with the team at PrecisionLender, best of luck!
