I’ve had 3 in person interviews and the last interview with an HR person wasn’t aligned with the previous 2. The questions were outrageous and the person interviewing was lacking experience.

1st Phone Interview
2nd - In person interview with CFO and HR.
HR employer questioned every detail on the resume and tried to read between the lines.
Controller’s and CFO’s interviewing style was significantly different than the HR’s. It appears that accounting department has a high turnover rate (per HR suggestion). Miscommunication between the 1st group (Controller and CFO) and HR was evident and unprofessional.
