One on one for me but sometimes two managers will be present. Not intimidating at all, very laid back. Dress like JCrew or Banana Republic. Accessorize if a girl. I was interviewed on floor but usually you go up to office. They are friendly and try to put you at ease. Lasts about twenty mins to half an hour. It's important to them that they feel you'll be reliable and fit in with the family feel of the store so be friendly.

I actually approached a worker in the store to ask if they were hiring. She quickly introduced me to her store manager and because she did have time available we sat down on one of the sofas. She explained the role and I assured me experience in sales as well as design. This was in November, starting as seasonal help but transitioned into full time with benefits over time.

What is your history of sales and or retail? Can you handle high stress environments?
The best way to describe the phone interview is short and sweet. It lasted about 10 minutes, and the recruiter whom spoke with me was quite lovely. She followed up with the interview in 2 days as said, and has so far been a delight to coordinate with throughout this process.
