A lengthy but thorough self-paced interview, then a recruiter is supposed to reach out. My experience was very confusing. A recruiter reached out from the wrong state (as I am moving), but then forwarded me to the a second recruiter, with whom I scheduled an interview. They again told me that they were not the correct person for me to be talking to. I was forwarded on to a third recruiter who I spoke with on the phone about getting a caseload in the city I will be moving to. She told me to let her know when it got closer to my moving date. I reached out several times and when she did reply, she let me know there were openings in the county I was moving from, all the way across the country. I explained to her again that I was moving (which we had talked about in depth on the phone and over text) and she said that she had no idea I was moving. I was told yet another recruiter would be reaching out to me, which happened about one week later. When I tried to set up a time to talk with the fourth recruiter I was put into contact with, I never got a reply. I have heard good things about PBS and was excited for the opportunity to build a career with this company, but feel like I was lost in the system somehow. I am very qualified for the position I was applying for, so I ended up accepting a job offer from another company.

The interview process was organized, welcoming, and very transparent from start to finish. Communication was consistent, and I always knew what the next step would be. After submitting my application, I received a prompt follow‑up from the hiring team, who provided clear details about the role and what they were looking for.
The in‑person interview felt conversational rather than intimidating. The team asked thoughtful, relevant questions about my experience, my approach to supporting families, and how I handle real‑world situations in the field. They also took time to explain the program structure, expectations, and the type of collaboration they value.

Had a phone interview, was more of a info session really. Then did online application which included some video questions. Application process was easy, and all through their portal. I put in my availability and desired hours, and then received an offer.

Interview was a video recording of questions and answers regarding what you would do in certain situations. Also, why you would make a good candidate. Once you have submitted video they will email you if they are interested.
