The interview was a long process. It toke 2 months just to complete all the tests, trainings, and interviews. I traveled back and forth for 3 weeks in between islands because they don’t have a main branch where I live. It was not worth the haste.

The interview process at Popular Bank included a phone interview, a video interview, and an in-person meeting with the branch managers. Each lasted about an hour and focused on behavioral questions—though many didn’t seem relevant to the job.
The whole process felt disorganized. Communication was really slow, and I had to follow up multiple times just to hear back. Emails went unanswered, and I ended up having to call HR myself for updates. During the in-person interview, the managers even spoke poorly about a former employee, which was a major red flag.
Overall, not a great experience. Even if I had gotten an offer, I wouldn’t have accepted. There are definitely better banks out there to work for.

First there was 10 min phone interview. followed by a in person interview at the bank. It was quick process only took a week to get a call back for the position.
