I asked him what he was looking for in an EA, he made it clear he didn't want an EA with emotional baggage like his previous who needed constant 'Thank Yous'. I also thought it was strange that he openly shared that his company is a revolving door, has a lot of turnover.
As the conversation continued, I knew this was not the place for me. The owner seemed arrogant, out of touch and not someone I'd want to partner with.

The CEO is always running late or has to reschedule last minute which is disrespectful of a candidates time.
The pay is overly inflated, which is concerning.
These are all red flags hinting at faulty leadership and lack of structure, which are potentially masked behind the words"start up."
