I interviewed at the corporate office in Knoxville TN. I had a preliminary interview with two woman from HR. They asked me very basic questions like if I knew how to tell people no and my comfort level with making tough decisions. The position seemed to be an executive assistant for the VP of marketing to sit in on meetings for her. I’m definitely highly qualified to take on this position. The women seemed more interested in their 12:30 workout class than spending the time getting to know me. I was given no feedback after and an automatic rejection email. Preliminary interviews can be done remote instead of wasting many people’s work day to venture out for an interview. I understand the later interviews can be done in person and be just as effective. I feel like my time was wasted as I had to take time away from my current job to be there.
