I applied by printing off an application online and mailed it in. Shortly after I received an email from them telling me that my application had been received and that they were considering me for employment. About one month later I received a phone call where I was asked a few questions and then was told that I was hired.

You print an application off of the Philmont website, fill it out, and send it in. Within a few days your get an email from Administration saying they've received your application, and are reviewing it. I had an initial phone interview, that lasted about 20 minutes, and then a follow up a few weeks later that I'd been hired.
