      TLDR version: There were 4 rounds which lasted more than 3 months--> HR screen, 1st round (1R), 2nd round (2R), impromptu fit round with Senior director. Throughout interviewing I never felt my time was respected and had to run after Philips for updates. The correspondence was extremely untimely and unprofessional. Detail version: (a) After 1R, I was told the interviewer would call me on Wed with feedback, however, the call came two days late on Friday. When I told the interviewer that I was expecting her call on Wed, she said she was busy. I don't know what to make of that response. It takes 5-10 min to call someone and give feedback. Anyhow, they moved me to the 2R which was after one month. (b) After scheduling the 2R, the recruiter said she'll follow-up soon with further details on 2nd round process. However, I heard nothing for 3 weeks. A week before 2R I reached out for any updates. Three days before 2R I was told I also need to make a powerpoint presentation. Making a presentation is ok, but they had one-month b/w 1R and 2R to inform me of changes but chose last week, that too after I emailed them. (c) I was also told the 2R is the decision round, so obviously after 2R, I was awaiting the outcome. However, instead of the decision, I got an email that the Senior Director would like to discuss next steps. Scheduling a call with him wasted another 10 days. However, I was hoping that once we do talk, I'll have some closure--either I'll have the job or not. (d) During the call, instead of informing me of the outcome Senior Director started another round of impromptu fit interview. This baffled me, he was asking the same questions which his team had asked over the last 3 months and I wasn't expecting a fit interview. I was taking the call from a coffee shop and it caught me off-guard. In the end, I told him that I need an answer from Philips as I need to inform other potential employers. He said yes, we'll inform you by end of the week. I had reached a point where I did not trust Philips anymore, so I wasn't surprised when no one called by Friday. (e) Middle of the following week I reached out to the recruiter asking for some clarity on decision. It had been 4 weeks since the decision rounds. The recruiter said someone will call on Fri, however, in characteristic Philips fashion, the call came 4 days late next Monday. (f) I was informed that they'd not be able to extend an offer because they were unsure of my motivation to join Philips and leave my current job. If my fit was a concern, they could have easily pressure tested this (which they did) during HR screen and 1st round. Anyhow, I was a bit elated the whole experience was over and I had already chosen a new employer. The whole interview experience was eye-opening. How can a company in this day and age afford to be so reckless with communication? I'd never recommended any friend of mine to even consider Philips.

      Processo muito bom, com retorno sobre a aprovação ou não, bem conduzido pelo rh com perguntas técnica e perguntas sobre a vida profissional, que se encaixam com a vaga para uma adesão mais correta da pessoa que está está sendo entrevistada.

      Lots of time invested, many people involved with the interview process. Felt as if the outcome was determined beforehand. Professional for sure, but not very engaging. For the level of the position I would have expected more meaningful conversation.
