      The recruiters for Philips are among the worst I have ever encountered. On two occasions different recruiters reached out asking to set up a time to speak about open roles with their company, we setup the time and they never call. I'm not actively looking but when someone agrees to take time to speak with you, and you agree to a time the appropriate thing to do is call, or at least send an e-mail that you cannot make it. This has happened on multiple occasions with separate recruiters, I think thats very telling of the company's culture and has certainly ensured I will never respond to another Philips recruiter who reaches out.

      Meeting with three stakeholders and manager who this role would interface with. In addition to hiring manager, the recruiter. Process was long and took a bit too long. All meetings were remote.

      Solicité el puesto a través de la recomendación de un empleado. El proceso duró 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Philips (San Diego, CA) en ene 2020

      Entrevista

      Volcano Division Had discussions with the company recruiter and the hiring manager. Spoke twice with hiring manager actually. Followed by in person interviews which were a mess. Interview panel was also in all day meetings, the timing was shuffled, and the panel appeared stressed and tired. Additional interviewer added on the fly. Nobody seemed happy - not a single smile all day. The interviews were fairly straight forward. I left the facility feeling the division was disorganized and lacked vision. My gut told me something was off. After a week I followed up with the Philips recruiter to determine the status. Nothing. Two weeks later followed up again and was told the hiring manager wasn’t responsive and was traveling a lot. After another week I wrote the Philips recruiter and withdrew my candidacy and offered to follow up live if he’d like to discuss my reasons. I never heard from the recruiter again. I know from a colleagues who is a Philips executive the division has struggled and my belief now is that it’s clearly at the top. I’d recommend caution with the Volcano division.

      Entrevista

      first phone screening by their talent acquisition team, and follow by three interviews by hiring manager, head of HR and CEO. It was efficient, and very open. The interviewers are friendly and respectful.
