Not what I expected, turned from conversation into an interrogation and then all about the interviewer. My contact with the recruiter was great, he made me really excited about the role. The beginning of the interview with the hiring manager was also really good, having good conversation and making a connection. Once we got down to the questions however, Ill take the blame and I started to stumble on my answers and blanked. Rather than make an effort to bring us back on track, felt like the interviewer started to really interrogate me and "try to prove me wrong" Hearing the interviewer pat themselves on the back for their experience and how they got to their position, and other big name companies they could have gone to work for, just turned me off even more. Finally, interview essentially insulted my past experience because it wasnt at the scale of Philips. The majority of companies are not at the scale of Philips! By the end, you could tell the interviewer was irritated by my presence there. Guess this is what interviews are for, if I hadn't done poorly (my own fault, again) I would have turned down another interview. That is not the type of person I want to work with on a regular basis.
