      Solicité el puesto a través de la recomendación de un empleado. El proceso duró 3 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Phenom en ene 2018

      Entrevista

      I was approached by Phenom People. I was interested in learning more about the company and the opportunity and had a really great initial phone call. Was told that the position they had contacted me about was probably going to be too junior but they wanted to meet with me in person to discuss my background, and other opportunities. Ended up spending about 4 hours on site meeting with 3 people and I left the office really excited -- about the product and the people I had met with. Was then sent a JD for a role they were going to be looking to staff, would I be interested, I said yes, interview was scheduled with (I think) that hiring manager. Another 1.5 hour interview and everything seemed great and really promising. Then they went radio silent. I allowed an appropriate amount of time to pass before following up and still got no response (to calls or emails). I think eventually (maybe a month or 6 weeks later) i finally got an email saying I was not a good fit for the role, but they were still really interested in me and wanted to regroup in a few weeks. Maybe I was naive to believe them, but I did and tried to circle back...crickets. The whole experience was just a colossal waste of time, obviously mine most of all. While I totally understand the need to build a talent pipeline (esp for a rapidly growing company), I think it's irresponsible to having a candidate invest that much time in meeting and interviewing when there is actually not a role available. Contact me to have the initial convo -- learn about my background, see what my plans are (currently employed? Actively/passively looking?) and ask to stay in touch or if I would be interested in revisiting the convo when roles are added. What was initially a great candidate experienced quickly turned negative once I realized I was being moved along an interview process for a job that didn't exist.
