I appplied online to work at PTP Training as a Business Development Executive part time as I was doing my PhD. The Manager of the Birmingham office rang me herself about 3 days after I applied and she arranged a suitable time for the interview. My interview with her went extremely well. She was very friendly, accomodating and asked very straight questions about why I applied for the job and what I can bring to the team. I was offered the job a couple of days after the interview.
