Applied in March 2017, got a call yesterday to come in for an interview. They talked me out of starting immediately in management and recommended I work as a Service Advisor to learn the ins and outs of everything, which I actually appreciated. This way, I'm able to gain the trust and respect of my coworkers as opposed to coming in brand new and expecting things to run smoothly 100%.

Pep Boys only accepts online employment applications, and therefore I had no way of following up with the process of consideration for employment. But after three weeks, I was contacted to set up a first interview in person at the store location. The interview lasted approximately 30 minutes, and resulted in getting a second interview. This second one was with upper management who are generally not available for local interviews in person, so it was a phone interview. It too lasted approximately 30 min and resulted in a third interview over the phone. This was the the final interview before a decision was made.
