The interview took place over a Zoom call and was fairly casual. Instead of a question-and-answer format, it was more of a conversation about science. The interviewer asked about my career aspirations and motivations for the work. I also met with the team to get a better idea of how working there is like.

I applied online and after letting me know that I was shortlisted they invited me for an interview. I gave a one hour talk and then in the following two days discussed with the faculty members of the group having long discussions about future and past work. Irrespective of the application results, the discussions were very fruitful. Got new ideas to work on!

easy process. just simple discussion about your current work and what you will be doing. no BS behavior questions. You need a strong research background and know what you are good at and what you want to do in future.

They asked about research experience and future research direction. Most of the questions were research based. Asked about previous publications and research presentations. They checked about how I will be fitting into the new research and asked whether I will have any grant writing experience.
