The interview process felt disorganized and lacked clear coordination. I spoke with two different recruiters, and during one conversation it was unclear which property or role I was being considered for. This created confusion early on and suggested a lack of alignment internally.
I later met with hiring managers, and it became apparent that there was a disconnect between the level of responsibility discussed and the leadership experience present. The expectations of the role did not align with the compensation structure or with the leadership framework in place.
After investing time in multiple interviews, there was no follow-up or closure, which further reinforced concerns about communication and internal processes. Overall, the experience highlighted significant misalignment and an opportunity for improvement in organization, transparency, and candidate communication.

The questions were largely surface-level and focused on basic technical or resume-based topics. There were no meaningful questions around leadership style, people management, decision-making, or how I build and support teams.
There was also limited effort to understand me as a person or how I lead, which felt like a missed opportunity. While technical skills can be taught, leadership approach, emotional intelligence, and team alignment are critical at this level and were not meaningfully explored during the interview process.

Interview process was interesting.. the recruiter reached out to me to ask about scheduling. I followed up with her with confirmed dates & times that I would be available. I didn’t hear back, I had to follow up with her in order to get an initial interview on the schedule. After interviewing with her, I then was passed along to interview with the regional manager, then regional VP, even going so far as the interview with the COO. Then… nothing! Interview process seemed view disorganized and it was disappointing to have taken time to interview on 4 separate occasions to not even be updated that I wasn’t getting the position. I would have appreciated at least being told that a different candidate was selected, or that I wasn’t a good fit. It’s been over a month at this point, while I gave up expecting a response long ago, I’ve still heard nothing at all. Last message I got- “we’ll be reaching out soon!”

They were very flexible with my interview. I was moving from across the country and they offered to do a Skype interview. They offered me the position without meeting me in person.
