      If you’re looking for a company that values collaboration, respect, and healthy leadership — PayDo might not be the right fit. I’ve been in marketing for over 7 years and have participated in more than 500 interviews, and this was by far the most unpleasant. The interview process started positively, with an initial conversation that felt human, collaborative, and respectful. However, the final stage was the complete opposite — the tone shifted dramatically, and the conversation felt more like an interrogation than a dialogue between potential colleagues. Throughout the discussion, there was no real curiosity about my experience or perspective, and the message was clear: the only thing that matters is generating revenue. The environment came across as one where pressure, performance at any cost, and a lack of psychological safety dominate. If that’s the kind of culture someone thrives in, this company might be a match. But if you value collaboration, respect, and a healthy approach to leadership, I would think twice before applying.
