I’m confident in saying I doubt the recruiters thoroughly read resumes before reaching out to candidates. I was contacted by a recruiter for a phone screen, replied to the email with times I’m available and she never emailed back. Fast forward 1 month another recruiter reached out to me stating the initial recruiter left the company but she’d like to speak to me. I had a pleasant interview with the recruiter and set me up for another interview with the team leads. On the panel interview it was a nice conversation. A few days past the recruiter emailed me saying they moved on with other candidates and I didn’t have enough E&S experience. If my resume had been read they would’ve seen that. Could’ve also just been a cop out.
