They sent a technical problem which is essentially an essay of the problem they're facing with a bunch of questions on it and things to think through. I wrote out my answers, but somehow there was some confusion on the first part. It seemed like I was expected to have done a deep dive on the code base. Sorry, but I have a full-time job. I don't have time to spend 3 days unpaid doing a deep dive on your code base. I thought this would end up being a discussion, as I was told there would be no wrong answers, but what happened more was he was looking for me to say the correct keywords to move forward.

The job ad and the interviewer were very transparent. The interview took about 20 minutes. It was pretty straightforward: there were a few questions about my experience and then a few more about what motivated me. Although I didn't get an offer, the interviewer gave me the chance to get feedback from the interview. I appreciated that as most interviewers don't give feedback.
