I applied online and received a call to come in that following Monday. When I got there I was offered a drink while I waited. The manager asked what brought me to Panera and my previous work history. Then he talked about Panera bread and how they strive for great customer service and if I could provide that. I was offered the job on the spot.

The interview was sitting down with the general manager. The job offered on the spot. Cafe associates were largely high school students. Interview reflected ability to show up on time and be trainable.

Interviewer (who was the manager at the time) was a nice person, charming in the way he spoke, understanding, a good listener, and good speaker. I didn't get the job, but he was still very charitable when interviewing me.

I applied online and was reached out for an interview a couple days later. We briefly went over my resume and talked about availability and interest. The meeting with the general manager was only about 15 minutes - 30 minutes long.
