Pretty standard interview process (during COVID; all online):
Applied - recruiter pre screen - hiring manager pre screen - technical presentation - no offer
Technical presentation was a 20 min slideshow of 2-3 of your projects or activities. I chose 2 that I liked, but may have not been the best for the job looking back. After the presentation a panel interview was conducted. They asked very manufacturing design heavy questions. Of the 5 people on the panel. 2 left during the interview, 1 said nothing, and only 2 asked any questions. That was pretty telling I wasn’t going to get the offer to say the least.
Overall it was net positive experience. I just wasn’t the right fit for this job. I think they wanted someone with less design and more manufacturing experience.

Entrevista
The questions were quite technical mainly about air conditioning and basic electrical engineering. They gave an hour to answer questions. It was a face to face exam then an interview followed.
Firstly, to introduce yourself. And then, to ask you what you learn in your university, and why you want to work in Japan. However, though they said there were 20 min for the interview, I was told it's time at 15 min.
First phone screen with HR recruiter then a phone interview with an engineering supervisor. Final round was a video call with 3 engineering managers. All asked fair questions, mostly about my past experiences and how I would approach the situation differently, etc.
