I applied for this position through LinkedIn. Turnaround time was short, reaching back out to me within 78 hours of submitting (the majority of other companies just ghost or take weeks to get back). Jumped on a call - they did their spiel of the job description, company culture, expectations etc... when it came time for the salary, it was the typical "what's your salary range" trying to get me to answer first. I put the question back on them, asking what they had in their budget. The interviewer goes starting salary is $45K. I say that's way below my range and asked if there was room for negotiation, he says "no" and goes onto explain that's what everyone starts at and what he started at when he was hired 8 YEARS AGO.... Although I knew the pay was way too low and that I would most likely not accept the position, I still went through with booking a second round - thought I might as well get the interview experience. He said great, we can schedule you next week. We booked a second in-person interview and I thought that was that. He emails back, stating that I would need to prepare 2-3 Facebook ads with specific information regarding their company before coming in. After I saw this, and picking my jaw up off the floor, I responded back, stating I would not be proceeding as a candidate and that the expectations were too high for such a low-paying position. Should have stopped the interview as soon as I heard the pay...

I had a phone screen for the position at PPL Labs and I could tell that the interviewer didn't even read my resume before the interview and I gave me a feeling like he didn't care about the position
