A recruiter from PPG reached out after I submitted my application. She asked me to schedule a quick 15-minute phone interview. The day of the interview she was 5 minutes late. That is a big red flag for me. I gave her a chance and waited. After the interview was over I sent a follow up thank you then followed up as she said she would email within 2 business days. She never did. I followed up constantly and kept getting ghosted. The day after the 2nd follow up, I get an email from her saying a candidate had already been selected. Recruiter literally only asked 2 questions. Why do you want to work at PPG? How long have you been at your current job? I am curious how you select candidates to move to the next round if you only ask these two questions.
