After completing the assessment. I received an email to do a phone interview. After that step, you move to a face to face interview. I had the pleasure of interviewing with three Branch Managers. One in person and two via webcam. Super easy process, managers made me feel comfortable. I got a call from the recruiter about three day with an offer.

I applied to be a personal banker/branch banker. Received a call from a recruiter, let's call her "BM" in late November of 2021 and we had a very nice chat,she asked about my experience and we built up a good rapport and she scheduled an interview with a local branch manager. I had a great interview with the branch manager and we seemed to be on the same page, however, she informed that I was applying to be a 'universal banker' NOT branch banker; universal banker is a teller who does everything for less pay. But I couldn't stand the job I was working at, so I said I was interested, and thus a telephone interview was scheduled with the district manager. Again, the third interview went fairly well, but they couldn't seem to decide where to put me, so I was scheduled for yet ANOTHER telephone interview with two other branch managers. The purpose supposedly being to "see where I would be best utilized". In fact the recruiter "BM" told the branch managers were fighting over me, and they were looking to extend me an offer. I had my final interview which lasted well over an hour, and went very well I thought, and I assumed one of the managers or the recruiter "BM" would reach out to me tell me a final decision. No call backs for a week. Finally I get one from the recruiter lady, and she told me "Don't freak out if you get a declined email, we updated our HR system and you are still being considered for the position". another week, and I called "BM" who was apparently on vacation, so I sent her an email asking what was going on, and she dismissed me with a single sentence saying "You were declined for one position, but I think you're still being considered for the other." And then I never heard back from anyone. I had 4 interviews, over 3 hours of my time, each of which I thought went pretty well, and I got declined. After the recruiter said "they're looking to extend an offer". Now I understand that is not the same as extending a genuine offer, but that is NOT good recruiting practices to string someone along like that. You don't have 4 lengthy interviews with a person and not explain to them why they didn't get the job. It doesn't matter really, because I ended up getting a better offer from a much larger competitor of PNCs, but it still left with me a very bad taste in my mouth. So thank you dear recruiter lady "BM", I got a much better job, and got a lot of insight into your company, i.e. I know where I will never have a bank account.

15 minutes informational interview. Was not sure what it would be like. Having it tomorrow. Wish me luck and continued success within the company. I hope to land a job at PNC and further my communication and leadership skills.
