Entrevista
The interview was for an Associate/Senior Editor at PLOS Medicine. The process was excellent and everyone involved was lovely. First there was a video call with the HR people, followed by a task involving reviewing two articles, then a technical interview lasting approximately 1 hour mostly discussing the articles from the task and publishing in general. The technical interview, while difficult (for me anyway!) had a discussion feel and the interviewers definitely tried to focus on the areas they thought they could get good responses from me as opposed to pushing for answers I didn't seem to know, which I much appreciated. The final round was apparently a more general skills interview (but I didn't get that far). The interviewers were exceptionally nice and offered to provide feedback.

Interview with HR, general competency questions - 30 min;
Assignment - was given 2 hours to assess submitted manuscripts;
Second interview - 1 hour 15 mins with a team of two.
Phone call screening interview with the recruiter/HR rep. It was very casual and lasted 15 minutes. Mostly just introductions and overview of the interviewing process. Wanted to know what I know about PLOS. Described the role.
