I do not even know where to begin. Bizarre. Unprofessional. Extremely disorganized chaotic hostile mess. I was first interviewed by someone normal. They asked me questions about myself and asked me what I wanted to know more about the position. In the middle of us speaking one of the owner came in and screamed at him. He excused himself and then came back shortly. The owner interrupted our conversation at least 3 times. The owner then came and “interviewed me”. He asked almost no questions and kept looking out at the showroom only monitoring what other people were doing and not paying attention to me at all. He excused himself after only about two minutes and said someone would call me that afternoon to set up a time to meet with the office manager. No one ever called and when I followed up there was no response.

Got an emailing telling me to call the hiring person but no specific time or day. Went in person for a very informal interview. I honestly don't think the person I talked to even looked at my resume. He was super unprofessional and didn't even tell me his name when he walked in, so I thought he was the person on the phone. Expected me to know industry-specific certifications and then asked: "what were they even teaching you in school?". No one is going to college for a degree in flooring. Very weird thing to ask. Very bizarre interview. Then he stormed out saying "You don't even seem interested" and didn't even say goodbye. I knew I wasn't interested halfway through the conversation, but I still have manners and still know how to behave in a professional setting. I didn't take the other reviews seriously, but I definitely should have. Pay attention to what the others are saying! Do not waste your time with this company. Especially if you want a fulfilling career in sustainability.
