Very convoluted process- particularly for Africa-based positions. 30-min HR screening interview followed by 2 panel interviews with hiring team. Reference checking is done prior to conducting a final interview. If you are successful, background screening with US-based company takes place but you might also be required to submit additional documents (+ documents you provided during the background screening process) depending on country HR requirements.

Fairly typical phone screen, hiring manager and interview loop. I did get an email after my final interview suggesting that I was a "finalist" and they were moving forward with references. The recruiter would not respond to my email when I asked her to clarify what this meant. After filling out my reference contact info through a kooky third party system and reaching out to my references, PATH ended up ghosting me. The most outrageous part is that the provider they use to check references ended up doing a SALES CALL to one of my contacts, so PATH is clearly fine with sharing this data. Based on this unethical practice and an unresponsive recruiting process, I wouldn't recommend this company.

The interviews themselves were fairly easy. I think they had another candidate in mind for the position but they needed to interview a certain amount of people in order to "compete" the job.
I've been on the other end of those interviews, interviewing people who I knew had no real chance at getting the job. Sometimes that's just how it is. My issue was that they required 4 references beforehand, including 2(!) former supervisors. The references themselves had to go to an online system and fill out a form, PATH couldn't be bothered to do the reference checking themselves. It was fairly dehumanizing to have to go to a former boss and ask them to spent their time filling out information in a goofy third party system on my behalf. I have never been asked to do this before or since in the hundreds of jobs I have applied for in my lifetime.
Based on this experience I will never apply to Path again, and I would encourage Path HR to take a hard look at their recruiting and hiring procedures.
