The application was submitted a number of months before the actual interview call. The interview involved a one-hour interview with a panel, including the director, and a second interview with just the director.

The interview process consisted of a phone call with the Director, which lasted about 15-20 minutes and mostly asked me about my current company. I was then invited for an interview with the Director and a senior program lawyer. The interview was late about 15-20 minutes and was a very strange experience. I was asked significantly more questions about my current employer rather than any questions about my skills and compatibility with the position. I was then asked about my goals and pretty much told that there was no opportunity for advancement or additional placement beyond the contract (though the initial position was not advertised as a contract). I attempted to contact the employer after the interview to thank them for the time and never heard back.
