The first step is the OA with five sections. You have to pass each section to continue into the next one. This includes the mental math, games, number logic and probability. The second step is a behavioural interview with typical questions. The final step consists of two cognitive interviews and one behavioural interview.

Initial round of Optiver tests involving mini games, sequences and probability questions, followed by HR behavioral interview where I was asked about my motivations for joining the firm, reasoning for the role (i.e. trading vs research) and past problem-solving experiences.

The interview is a five-step procedure. The first one is an online assessment including mental math, neuro-assessment games, numerical reasoning, probability, and personality questionnaires. The second one is a behavioural interview. The third and fourth are technical interviews. and the final one is a behavioral interview. All are virtual.
