Lengthy process, but I actually really appreciated that. Moving jobs is a big deal - no one wants to make a huge life & career decision based on only one 30-minute conversation. There were multiple rounds of interviews with varying audiences including supervisor, peers, and direct reports. It was a lot of meetings and waiting, but well worth it. It was an opportunity for them to get to know me and me to get to know them. I appreciated their thoroughness and time-investment to make as informed a decision as possible.
