      Entrevista de Lead Role

      29 sept 2016
      Candidato de entrevista anónimo
      Manila,
      Sin oferta
      Experiencia neutra
      Entrevista normal

      Solicitud

Solicité el puesto a través de la recomendación de un empleado. El proceso duró 6 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en OpenText (Manila, ) en ago 2016

      Entrevista

Skipped the HR interview and was scheduled for a director interview. Received feedback right after the interview about the things I did well, so was appreciative of that. Was called up the same week to schedule the final interview the following week, though that schedule got bumped off twice to two weeks after, which was fine with me since I understood the interviewer could be very busy. The second interview was like a repeat of the first, except that a few questions varied. After the second interview I never heard back. I followed up twice from people I knew, since there was no response when directly contacting HR. After the second follow-up a couple of weeks later, that's when I received the news, and a few days later received the official rejection email. I don't know if it was due to my answers during the second interview, or due to salary (I was asked how much I was getting, but never asked about my asking salary, which would have been lower). Whatever the case, I respect the decision and accept that it wasn't meant to be. I wish the company well.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

Behavioral questions like greatest accomplishment, most challenging/difficult situation, sample innovation, managing conflict, volunteering for something. Not so difficult if prepared, but could be difficult if not prepared and had to think of sample situations from past experiences on the spot.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your detailed feedback. I appreciate it. I do apologise for the inconsistency in relation to providing you with timely feedback after your second interview. We should have been in a position to speak with you and provide the feedback required. I am investigating why there was a break in our feedback loop. I am also in the process of reviewing our screening/interview templates to ensure that we are asking all the relevant questions required to make a more thorough assessment of an individual including current and expected salary. Again, I thank you for your feedback and I assure you that this situation is being addressed. Paul Villagra
