I recently went through the interview process for a Java Developer position. The process started with a pre-interview assessment focused on core Java concepts and problem-solving. After passing that stage, I was invited to an on-site interview which included live coding exercises and technical discussions around Java, APIs, and general software engineering practices.
The interviewers were professional and the process itself was organized. Communication during the recruitment stages was generally clear.
The company later offered me a 6-month contract with a net salary of around €900/month. While I appreciated receiving an offer and the opportunity to continue in the process, I personally felt that the compensation did not fully match the expectations and technical requirements of the role. In the end, I was not selected to move forward after the final evaluation.
