      Entrevista

Had an interview with omnicell which started in April 2025. The first round was a manager screening which they called fitment test where they wanted to know what ive worked on and if I'd be the right fit. 2. Round 2 was a technical interview which I had to attend physically at their new office. Questions were asked around C#, questions around Middlewares , filters , parallel programming and how we achieve concurrency. It was a mix of system design and how we would employ best practises when developing microservices. Pen paper and a laptop were provided .. but the keys on the laptop were missing. Went on for around 1 hr 45 minutes (it was 1pm by then) 3. Round 3 was a managerial round where he explained the products he managed.. spoke about conflict management , agile , their ways of working , timelines , business alignment and questions were asked around this. Asked me to explain what I worked on processes , design of my previous product , what are you looking for again went on for 1 and half hour... *Point to note here is the TA never bothered to check or ask me if I wanted to have lunch or take a break after Round she wanted to get done with both my rounds on the same day which I understand but atleast care to ask.. The interviews started at 11 AM. Went on until 3.30 without a lunch break. 4. Round 4 and 5 were onsite rounds which I had the 4th round with the director of engineering and the 5th with a team leader. The director asked me technical question .. he had asked me to review a piece of code, design patterns and principles , around best practises at work, code craftsmanship . Had both behavioural and technical related questions which I cleared too.(The director didnt happen to have my resume i had to share it with him on chat) The 5th round technical lead asked me questions that were completely different from the job description and my resume never mentioned the skills that he was assessing me on. What i had come to understand is they were hiring me for a team that they felt i could reskill myself for which is alright to do if it were Frameworks and the core is the same for example Azure vs aws .. fundamentals of networking and cloud providers are the same .. but it was something i had no experience. They came back with an offer but I wanted to ensure i would get to work on my Core skillset. Which didnt seem to be the case, I didnt proceed ahead . I liked the interview process. Recommendation to everyone to check if youll get to work on the same skillset that you're on the look out or around the same.
