I applied to an opening online & had my resume emailed to recruiting from an internal employee. I had a call w/ the recruiter & a hiring manager very quickly, within the same week followed by an all day HQ interview the next week. I was impressed how quickly they moved when I told them my timeline. All went well until I rejected the offer. I had to reject via email because I was out of the country at the time without access to data roaming on my phone. The recruiter reprimanded me for being unprofessional for not calling. I thought my effort to prioritize speed over method of communication was reasonable.
