      I applied for a Customer Success Manager role at OKTO - Remote job for Romania. I had an initial video interview with the HR Manager from Greece and the Romanian Country Manager. We discussed my professional experience and the company's plans for the Romanian market. The conversation went well, and I was optimistic about the opportunity. A month later, I was invited to a face-to-face meeting with the Romanian Country Manager and his Associate. They reiterated their interest in long-term collaboration and emphasized the importance of respect, professionalism, and obedience, as customer satisfaction and retention are top priorities. However, I discovered that the job description did not accurately reflect the actual responsibilities. The role involved a lot of overtime, frequent travel to customer premises (primarily casinos), and spending significant time socializing with clients at pubs and coffee shops as part of the nurturing process. Additionally, I was asked personal questions about my marital status, children, and potential commitments that could hinder my ability to perform the job. After the second round, I waited nearly a month for feedback, despite repeated requests and excuses. The entire process took over two months, and I still haven't received a clear response. Disappointingly, the same position I applied for has been repeatedly reposted on LinkedIn, suggesting the company may struggle to find a suitable candidate due to unrealistic expectations and a lack of transparency. Overall, my experience with OKTO was disappointing and a total waste of time.
