Disappointing Experience with the Hiring Process I was thrilled to receive an offer from Offit Kurman, as it seemed like the perfect opportunity for my career. After accepting the offer, I resigned from my previous position and declined another job. Unfortunately, just two days later, Offit Kurman withdrew the offer, citing a reference issue. When I reached out to my references, they confirmed that no one from the firm had contacted them, and my background check was never completed. This experience was extremely discouraging and upsetting, especially after making major life decisions based on the offer. I strongly believe that all reference and background checks should be completed before a formal offer is extended to candidates. I hope Offit Kurman will review and improve their hiring practices to ensure future applicants are treated with more transparency and respect.

I had a phone interview with the HR Manager. My 2nd interview was with the attorneys whom I will be assisting and 3rd interview with Regional Director and Administrative Manager. We went over my current role and skills, and their expectations for the position.
