A complete state of confusion. The recruiter didn't know the salary range of the position and didn't even understand what the roles and responsibility of the position entails, resorting to reciting from an internal script in face of any questions encountered.

Interview with HR through VC. Multiple instances of unstable connection and finally lost connection from her side. We continued the interview over phone. I don't remember much about what she said except kept asking me do I have any questions, which happened throughout the interview. But, when I did ask questions, she couldn't answer them or undermined the importance of the questions. Another strange thing is she kept asking me about my experience on something that wasn't covered in the job description showing in their recruitment ad., which was odd; she also kept pulling our discussion outside of the scope of the role that I've applied. I wonder were we talking about the same role? The overall impression of the meeting come across as unprepared, lack of structure, and not harmonious. In short, unprofessional. I did not ask the question about company culture, as it has already been demostrated by the interviewer. Also, feedback from employees and ex-employees are all over the place in internet. These are the real reflection of the company culture. A few "marketing lines" from HR won't change it.
