Resume was sent in by a friend who had worked here previously. Resume was reviewed internally, after which I was offered a phone interview. Typically, I believe they offer on site interviews, however, I was hired kind of late. I received an offer letter approximately a week after the phone interview was conducted. Travel to site was reimbursed and housing was paid for all summer.

Please describe the principles of Scanning Electron Microscopy
A larger than expected undertaking involving a panel of 5 interviewers, however the questions were mostly basic and behavioral, and they asked follow up questions to establish experience. I enjoyed the time and they seemed friendly.

At a conference I was invited to interview after taking online reasoning tests. Liked the company but felt that I was not a good fit for the role. Highly behavioral, very good people focused heavily on company fit .
