I applied through the web, i was invited for a short call with HR and then hiring manager within a week. This was a pleasant experience. Then whole day interview with the team and presentation. It was a delightful meeting.
Came back to meet a director after a week or two. The director was very arrogant with me. I felt i would have to surrender all my independence, career development and values and free will to become a slave. I was glad that it surfaced because i was not sure if i wanted the job at that stage. Although i liked the team a lot.
Came the offer after 1 week. It was so low, so low i could not afford to accept it. I politely rejected.
6 months later Novartis came back wanted to talk to me again. Interviewed me again... invited me on site again for short meeting. All very nice.
3 weeks of silence, then very generic, almost robotic, AI email that they screen other candidates and they decided not to follow on with my application! Hey! I did NOT apply! They invited me to process again. last i heard was they will send me a new offer!
Asked for a feedback. No reply. Total waste of time and effort! Very unprofessional behaviour.
If you read this and are wondering about Novratis, want to work there, think again. People at the floor level are maybe good (depends), but you will never grow, and never meet the ends on your monthly bills. Not sure if for the pleasure of carrying stapled Logo of Novartis on your forehead for the price of being an ultimate slave and work for next to nothing is worth your time. You only have 30-40 years in your professional life to give. Use it well. Don't waste on Novartis. They wont appreciate you.
Remember, directors are taking massive bonuses every year for cost reduction of X%, this is your salary negotiation today and tomorrow will be your bonus. Don't be mistaken, they have millions for training every year while you wont have external course for 5 years.
