They rarely hire managers from the outside. They like to hire immature agents that catch shoplifters well so that means of course they will be great managers (sense my sarcasm). Its best to reach out to people in the company and get involved in their culture. If you are called for an interview it really is nothing special. For Loss Prevention Managers you interview with the Regional LP Manager and then the store manager. After that comes the decision.

went very well, I enjoyed the interview as I ended up interviewing with two different women while there unexpectedly but both really liked me and I got a call back the very next day unfortunately the pay was not where I need it to be so I had to decline their offer.

I applied online and was contacted by the Loss Prevention District Manager within a few days. We had about an hour phone interview that went well. Goldsmith stated he would be making a decision by the end of the week. He never contacted me so I called him a week later and never got a response. I called him again and finally got a call back on my voicemail where he said he was getting the final things together. I tried to call him/email him and again never got a response. I finally gave up.
I still have yet to heard back from him and it's been about 2 months. I never got communication from him letting me know I didn't get the job. I had plenty of experience and he seemed impressed so I was hopeful during the interview.
Wish company communication was better so I wasn't just hanging on.

Nothing out of the ordinary. What are you weaknesses, telling me a time you used to work.

Applied online, a recruiter called the house not long after- I'd been in the same position at a different company for years, so it was a breeze. Recruiter called from the west coast, tried to get a hold of the district manager. Never got a hold of him even though she said I passed with flying colors. Resorted to sending my infer to the district manager as a last effort. 3 weeks later. No rejection letter, no call either.
