3rd party recruiter first interview assessment. Hiring Manager by phone 30 minute interview. I was already told going into the interview that the HQ management had expectations of their US Management and sales teams working on December 24th.

"Tell me about your career. Start with your very first job out of college." With 15 years of experience the question was asked to determine the candidate's age. This was the most obvious case of age discrimination. The interview was brusque, abrupt and completely unprofessional. This was the worst experience in my career and appears to be consistent with the company culture.

The interview process was: -Recruiter -Manager -Director -Meet an AE (optional but def take them up) -Presentation Very normal. They will know if you can do the job or not pretty quickly. I really enjoyed the process. The only reason I declined the offer was due to the OTE, but here is where they really shined. The recruiter really tried to get the max offer for me. The manager was outstanding in doing so as well. I felt like they really wanted me, but at the end of the day, we were just too far off. After the recruiter realized things were not going to work out, he proactively said he will have something very soon with a more senior team that will be closer to my needs. I really respected it. VERY straightforward throughout the process. NICE can get a bad reputation, but my process was great. Really liked the hiring manager, but just cannot make it work with the OTE offered. If they can get closer, I would be very excited to have another conversation.

I spoke with the recruiter and it went well then I spoke with the hiring manager and it also went well. He said "I am putting you on to the next round, speaking with the VP of Sales. Then I heard nothing. I contacted the recruiter, no response, I called and emailed the hiring manager, no response, I hit up both on LinkedIn messenger, no response. Finally the recruiter responded after 3 weeks and said she would contact the hiring manager that day and get back to me; then nothing, no follow up, no "we are going with another candidate" , no nothing.
It is extremely rude and unprofessional to not return an email or a voice mail and the role was for a sales position? How can someone be a Regional Sales manager and not return a voice mail.
This is very weak!!! Unprofessional!!! Rude!!!
