I applied online. 4 weeks later I got a phone call interview request from HR. The following day we spoke after the phone call, I got an email invite to an interview with the hiring manager. The interview with HR was just talking about my expectation for salary and relocation and nothing to do with the position. The interview with the hiring manager was via zoom and very simple; mostly about my resume and some behavior questions. Infarct the interview went well and the hiring manager said I would hear from him soon at the end. After no response in 2 weeks. I emailed to follow up and got a no offer response from someone I had not even spoken two before with directions not to reach out to the hiring manager anymore. It sounded like the guy was hiding something, but I let it go.
