Interviewed for a Senior Associate / Vice President - Private Debt position with Neuberger Berman Private Debt (NBPD). I applied to the position in mid-Feb, the company reached out to me to start the interview process about a month later. The interview process entailed an introductory call with an internal NB recruiter where I was asked about to discuss my experience and a closed deal I worked on, then a 45 min call with the hiring manager was conducted where I was asked to talk through live credit assessments of deals in their pipeline, after which I was given a credit case study to complete in 24 hours. After I submitted the case study over the weekend, a debrief interview was scheduled the following Wednesday where I presented and answered questions from other NBPD professionals in a simulated investment committee meeting. The interview process was completed over a few weeks. It’s been about three weeks and I have not heard back from them.
