I applied through online. In about three weeks, I received a phone interview with the director and one manager of the team. The conversation lasts about 45 mins. All questions are very professional and very close to the position I applied (e.g., my background, why aviation field). After the phone interview, in only about five days, I was invited for the onsite interview. The onsite interview is also very nice and professional. It firstly comes with an assessment test. Then, there will be a more casual discussions with several managers based on the assessment test. After that, I meet with the director and the vice president in person. I feel very comfortable in this process. Different from many other companies, questions asked are not to challenge you but to see if the position matches your interest and if you have the qualities (strong communication and presentation skills in addition to the analytical skills) they want. The decisions are made in three weeks.
