First and foremost I want to say that I bombed this recruiter interview. I was all over the place with my answers and often times found myself wondering what the heck I was talking about... I had a lot of personal stuff going on and I just wasn't focused enough. That being said, after I talked to the recruiter on Thursday, she said she would get back to me Tuesday of the following week. It wasn't until two weeks later I received any communication. Naturally I got the hint, but recruiters need to do better. Stop ghosting candidates who probably had to take some PTO or rearrange their schedules to speak with you. Under promise and over deliver -- you send an automated reply so there really is not excuse why you can't keep your time commitments.
