I applied to Navan online and got a call back. After a phone screening I had an introductionary interview with the group lead in which he insisted on talking on how much production issues the company has, which led me to form a negative overlook on the position. I gave it another chance and continued to a technical interview in which I was given a task to implement a message broker class in Java. The interview was great but at the end the interviewer described the position as one that will be busy with refactoring old code. Afterwards the recruiter called and told me I passed but I decided to not continue due to the impressions I got from both interviewers

4 steps, 30 min call, 1 coding, 1 design. 1 hr. it was unpleasnat to make the design in person they are not organized with white board and it made the process nervouse, then the interviewr asked for design that he didn't know about. design googleflights he didn;t know the real engine that you can buy from vendors and show different prices and started to make unclear requirements for the design which led to not being albe to contact correctly the needed task and scope of it. HR didn't notice she makes some political notes while speaking which is not appropriate and very unpleasant and less professioanl in my opinion.

coding a pubsub in java multithreaded in coderpad you can look up in google if you need but it is hard. not the everyday easy/meduim leetcode - i would say a hard one.
