After submitting the usual cover letter & resume I was invited to an interview with a 'job recruiter' who is really just a family friend of the owners. After that they requested multiple writing samples, then an interview with one of the owners was scheduled, then a drug test and physical exam, credit check and background check... Turns out the doctors they want you to go to for the physical are also family friends of the owners and that's just a little weird.
