Entrevista
The actual interview was what you would expect. There were some behavioral questions and a few broad technical questions. Interview went fine and was told I would be contacted with decision in two weeks. Didn't hear back for a month and when I contacted them to inquire if a decision had been made I was told they were almost there and HR would let me know. Never heard from NG again. Not even the courtesy of a rejection email. Overall I would describe my experience as: waste of time.

First, I had a telephone interview asking about my background, why I wanted to work for national grid, the most helpful/ interesting class I took, an instance where I worked well in a group. Then I had the final round interview where I had a group interview with two managers, which asked for examples of specific instances in which I faced an ethical dilema at work and how did I resolve it, when I had a great customer service experience, an instance where I had to be flexible and handle multiple tasks. Following the group interview, I had to work on a case study with other candidates. We were given some time to look over the case study and take notes. Then we convened and collaborated on Miro while our interviewers watched. Finally, we gave a 10 minute presentation.

It was a phone interview for 30 mins with one of the Talent Acquisition employees, mostly behavioral questions, inquiring about your schooling and the things you did. Then you waited a while to hear back, but they then scheduled a virtual interview, round two. This was about 3 hours full process. You start off with one or two people in the department that you applied for, they ask you some questions, not too technical just getting a feel for your personality. Then after that there is a group case study, you get time to review on your own then you work with other interviewees as a group. It’s mostly hypothetical, just to see your team skills. Then after that it takes about a month or so to hear back.
