      Entrevista

      There was a big hiring event going on and they posted about 12 positions (all pay band 3 and 4) advertising that you could submit your resume and be considered for the event taking place. I applied and was invited to the event which was to start 2 days later, it occurred on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Meaning I applied on Thursday and boom, was invited to interview on Saturday 2 days later at the HQ. Everyone I spoke to had applied to and were interviewing for multiple positions (2-4 or more) and some were invited to interview on multiple days. HR stated that 2100 people had applied to the hiring event and 600 people were invited to interview. Was asked 4 behavioral questions in each interview and that was it. I was told the positions were not for a specific job, but to put you in a pipeline as they come up. Rumor from the event was that they needed to hire 300 people quickly due to all of the people who left/DRPed due to DOGE (the Department of Government Inefficiency).

      Q1. Give me an example of a time you had to adjust a project to ensure completion and maintain scope, quality, time, and cost. Q2. Give me an example of a time you presented an idea for improvement. Q3. Give me an example of a time you had to influence a leader. While all questions were behavioral, some were oriented towards the field. So for example, for the Contract Specialist one you may be asked something like "Give me an example of a time you had to resolve an issue that arose surrounding contractural interpretation." No offer yet but expecting one.
